Our organically grown Sencha from Kagoshima prefecture on Kyushu island is certificated organic by JAS (Japanese Agricultural Standard of Organic Agricultural Products). A good tea for daily drinking, full-bodied and astringend with the slightly “smoky” flavor typical for Kagoshima Senchas. The “spicy bite” is due to the fact, that during the processing of tea leaves higher temperature is used during the drying process than in Kyoto.
